Icade Sante has signed an agreement with private hospital group Vivalto Sante to acquire the Confluent Group (Nouvelles Cliniques Nantaises), which owns the Confluent private hospital located in Nantes. Following this transaction, Icade Sante will own the property assets of the Confluent private hospital, worth a total of €194m.
The Confluent private hospital covers close to 58,000m², being one the largest private hospitals with 509 beds and places and 28 operating rooms. The facility took 4th place in Le Point’s 2019 annual ranking of the best public and private hospitals in France. The scheme will be operated by Vivalto Group. The company has already entered in a 12?year lease with no break option with Icade Sante.
This acquisition, which is part of Icade Sante’s ambitious expansion plan including the goal of investing €1bn in France by 2022, strengthens the partnership between Icade Sante and Vivalto Sante with a third facility leased to this operator. In addition, it bolsters Icade Sante’s position as the leader in healthcare real estate in France, with a portfolio encompassing 128 assets and worth a total of €4.9bn.
