AccorHotels enters discussions to sell majority stake in HotelInvest (Booster project)

As part of the carve-out project of HotelInvest (Booster project), AccorHotels entered into discussions with potential investors to sell a majority stake in its property subsidiary.

The group announces the Gross Asset Value (GAV) as of December 31, 2016 of the Booster portfolio, which corresponds to almost all the owned and rented properties of HotelInvest, with the exception of Orbis. This valuation, carried out by independent experts, amounted to €6.6bn, a slight increase compared to the projected value at the end of 2016, announced on October 5, reaching €6.5bn.

 

As part of the process for the contemplated sale of a majority of HotelInvest (Booster project), AccorHotels has entered into discussions with potential investors, with a confirmed objective to close the operation by early summer 2017.

 

This valuation, which was conducted by third party experts (JLL, Cushman & Wakefield and BNP Paribas Real Estate) is €6.6bn.
