Viladecans: The Style Outlets to open in Barcelona this October (ES)

NEINVER, a Spanish company specialised in property investment, development and management—Europe’s second-largest operator of outlet centres—announced today that Viladecans The Style Outlets will open for business on 27 October.

 

The outlet centre involves an investment of more than €80 million and will feature Catalan, national and international brands such as Adidas, Adolfo Domínguez, Converse, Gant, Liu Jo Uomo, Nanos and Nike, among others.

 

NEINVER is finishing construction of the first phase of this outlet centre right on schedule, and is finalising the launch of the centre. The building’s structure and facades are complete and workers are now busy with the finishes and decor, retail unit interiors, and the centre’s internal systems, paving, car parks and other external development. The centre will offer a full range of services for a high-class shopping experience that meets the highest international standards. Restaurants, outdoor cafes and relaxation areas will round out the shopping experience at this beautifully landscaped outdoor centre.

  

Viladecans The Style Outlets, a centre developed through the joint venture between NEINVER and TH Real Estate, will have 1,400 parking spaces as well as charging stations for electric vehicles. The centre has other facilities and services that simplify pedestrian and public-transport access, including bike parking and an area for simple bicycle repairs, a bike lane that runs directly into the city of Viladecans, a RENFE regional rail station 100 metres from the outlet centre’s entrance, and various intercity bus lines that run to the airport and other parts of the metropolitan area. To that end we should note the recent completion of construction of the C32 viaduct, which improves access points and provides more continuity between the outlet centre, Viladecans proper, and the Camí del Mar that runs to the beaches within the municipality.

 

Viladecans The Style Outlets will become the new tourist attraction and driver of business in the Greater Barcelona area thanks to its strategic location and its broad range of products, with discounts of at least 30% all year. Located just 15 minutes from Barcelona and 10 minutes from El Prat airport and the cruise ship terminal, the centre has a catchment area with more than 6 million people within a 90-minute drive, including such prominent tourist destinations as the city of Barcelona and the Costa Dorada. Forecasts suggest 2.7 million people will visit the centre in its first year of operation, of which 20% will be tourists.
