De Goede Woning from Rijssen has taken over the De Molenpoort residential complex with 63 apartments in Rijssen from Heimstaden. It is a complex from 1996 with energy labels A and B. In addition to the spacious apartments, the complex also has a common room, guest rooms and a fitness room for the benefit of the residents. Capital Value assisted De Goede Woning in the transaction. Pillar Notarissen provided legal guidance to the corporation. The transfer of the complex will take place in January 2025.
De Molenpoort is located in the centre of Rijssen on the corner of the Watermolen, Verzetstraat and Wierdensestraat and consists of 63 apartments.
"For residents, the takeover mainly means that they now rent from a local housing landlord and, for example, can easily walk in with us if they have questions," said director Erna Mobach of De Goede Woning. "For us, it is nice that we can offer home seekers even more single-storey homes close to the centre. The demand for these types of apartments in our municipality is high."
"We are pleased that we can hand over this complex to housing corporation De Goede Woning, which considers it important to be close to the tenant," said spokesman Edward Touw of Heimstaden. "We are confident that the tenants of the Molenpoort will soon be in good hands with De Goede Woning."
Manon Kuipers, director at Capital Value: "Many corporations have a major task to expand their portfolio with social and sometimes mid-market rental housing. By taking over existing complexes in their own working area from investors, corporations can expand their portfolio in the short term. With the purchase by De Goede Woning, the apartments will also remain available for the rental sector for the long term."
