Cording Real Estate Group has taken over the asset management of Warburg-HIH Invest Real Estate´s property portfolio in the Benelux countries.

The portfolio currently comprises five office properties in prime locations in Amsterdam, with a total value of around €300m. Warburg-HIH acquired the properties on behalf of German institutional investors.

In addition to the asset management instruction, Cording will advise Warburg-HIH on an acquisition programme of around €150m of further office properties in the Benelux countries.

Investments will be made in core properties with multiple tenants in prime locations of larger cities and in established central business districts. Conurbations with good road and rail connections are also being considered. Of interest are both existing properties and those yet to be developed. The investment volume envisaged for individual properties is between €20 and €100m.

In March 2016, Cording appointed René de Heus to its team as director of investment for Benelux to reflect increasing business in the region.
