Castellum has completed a sale of 4 properties in Sundsvall and 6 properties in Östersund totaling about 48,000m². The selling price amounted to €48.2m (SEK 472m).

NP3 is the purchaser and change of possession will take place on March 31, 2017.

The portfolio now being sold comprises office and warehouse premises, totaling about 48,000m², spread over approx. 13,000m² in 4 properties in Sundsvall and approx. 35,000m² in 6 properties in Östersund. The sale means that Castellum is leaving Östersund.

The total rental value amounts to approx. €5.1m (SEK 50m). Major tenants include Prolympia, Arbetsförmedlingen and Bridgestone Sweden AB. The economic occupancy rate is 80% and the average contract length is 3.4 years.

“The deal is part of the divestments we announced and means that we continue to concentrate our operations by reducing the number of cities where we operate”, says Henrik Saxborn, Castellum´s CEO.

Properties included in the transaction:

Sundsvall: Vandringsmannen 3,4, 5 and 6.
Östersund: Fältjägaren 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 and Lugnet 7.6.
