Fastighets AB Balder has agreed to acquire four hotel properties in central Copenhagen for approximately €102m (1,000m SEK). The four properties are all located next to the central station in Copenhagen and are today run under the names Star, Mercur, Richmond and Plaza. Balder will sign long term lease agreements with Ligula Hospitality Group to operate all four hotels.
The transaction will close during the third quarter.
Fastighets AB Balder is a listed real estate company which shall meet the needs of different customer groups for premises and housing through local support. Balder's real estate portfolio had a value of €9.4bn (88.4bn SEK) as of 31 March 2017. The Balder share is listed on NASDAQ Stockholm, Large Cap segment.
