Vastned completes retail transactions for €35.9m

Vastned has expanded its core city assets portfolio by making two acquisitions in Utrecht for €15.1m.

 

The first property, located at 2-22 Drieharingstraat, offers 3,000 m² of space and is let to nine tenants, including food retailers. The total purchase price including acquisition costs is €11m. For this transaction, Vastned was advised by JB Retail

 

The company has also purchased a property located at 1 Vredenburg, in a close proximity to Utrecht's historic city centre. The asset compromises over 260 m² and is currently let to Dunkin’ Donuts. The purchase price including acquisition costs totals €4.1m.

 

Taco de Groot, Vastned CEO, said: "Vastned has made good progress on the execution of its strategy. I am proud that we have completed this off-market transaction in one of the foremost food & beverage streets in Utrecht."

 

The company has also disposed of a range of non-strategic properties for €20.8m. Apart from selling its properties in Sneek, Hilversum and Marseille, the company has also disposed of its stake in Walburg shopping centre in Zwijndrecht.
