In addition to Copenhagen, further projects are under negotiation.

The new UK-based company has been formed by outlet center and retail development specialists Steve Armitage and Graham Coxhead who have over 30 years' professional experience and have been prominent in this market since the early 1990s developing schemes all over Europe and beyond. In addition to Copenhagen, further projects are under negotiation.

Armitage, who is a former international property director of Ladbrokes and director of international real estate for the Dun and Bradstreet Corporation, has advised Nike on its outlet strategy and development program. He founded Antares Stream Associates in 1995 providing consultancy and project management services to global brands and outlet center development companies. In 1999 he formed and became managing director of Frontier Outlets International to develop and invest in outlet centers with offices in the UK, Spain and Germany. He has successfully delivered outlet centers in Sweden, The Netherlands, Germany, Portugal, Spain and Italy.

Coxhead, former high street retail partner of King Sturge, founded in 1995 Collyer Coxhead, a specialist retail and factory outlet property agency working throughout Europe that was later bought by GVA Grimley, where he became managing director of its outlet center arm Development Holdings Ltd.

Armitage comments: "We are delighted to be able to launch Ream on the back of the excellent Copenhagen Designer Outlets project. We are looking for retail and outlet center projects across Europe or even further afield. These include new developments from the early analysis/appraisal stage through to existing schemes which for whatever reason are under performing and need redevelopment, reengineering or repositioning.

"We believe there is a real quality void in the industry at present and as such a major opportunity exists for real estate investors and funds to build a quality international portfolio with high returns and growth potential.

"We have over 20 years of international experience working in almost every European country and elsewhere around the world with the ability to manage projects and consultancy programs in any market, sector or country," added Armitage.

The company is able to manage entire projects from conception to completion including financial and feasibility studies. It also undertakes market research and design through the construction/development process, commercialization, leasing, investment sale and ultimately providing asset management and a retail operations services.

Project experience includes Royal Quays DOC, Newcastle, England; Stockholm Quality Outlet, Sweden; Campera Outlet Shopping, Lisbon, Portugal, Bergamo Outlet Center, Italy; Fashion House, Warsaw, Pola
