90% of Outlet Village Belaya Dacha, the first outlet village project in Russia being developed by international real estate firm Hines, is leased.
Leasing agreements are signed with luxury brands, including TSUM, which will open a 528-m² TSUM Outlet, Ferragamo, Trussardi, Burberry, Karen Millen, US Polo, Louvre, Escada, Wolford, Van Laak, and CK Jeans.
Brands including No One, Fabi, Baldinini will be represented in three separate stores in a total area of 649 m². Sports fans will enjoy a Puma store of 345 m² and a 1,295-m² outlet housing Adidas Original, RockPort and Reebok. Food operators include Il Patio, Planet Sushi, Italian Osteria, Red Expresso Bar and Coffee Shop.
"We were taking into account international experience when choosing food operators," explains Julia Kachur, Senior Consultant at Cushman & Wakefield, the project's agent.
"Italian restaurants and coffee shops have typically proved to be the most successful for outlets, as their easy choice and quick service allow customers to concentrate on their main goal when visiting an outlet village to get the best brand at the best price."
"The leasing process is almost over in phase one, we are finalizing the last agreements," comments Andrew Muzzlewhite, Development Manager at Hines.
"Outlet Village Belaya Dacha has a great tenant mix, with distinguished luxury and young fashion zones."
Outlet Village Belaya Dacha is a joint project between Hines and Belaya Dacha Group of companies. The overall net leasable area of the project is 38,000 m² with over 200 stores. The construction is due to be finished by the end of this year and tenants will start shop fitting by then. The grand opening is planned for early April 2012.
