Gleeson Homes has submitted a planning application for a development in Spilsby, Lincolnshire. The proposed development will comprise 600 residential units and will be delivered in partnership with Cyden Homes. The site is one of the largest in Gleeson’s history and will feature a range of 2, 3, and 4-bedroom homes.
The development will include Public Open Space (POS) which will provide a nature zone, outdoor walking trail, and play area. Planning permission has already been granted for a new medical centre on the site. Gleeson has also planned to improve the safety of roads and footpaths around Spilsby Town Centre as part of its Community Matters social engagement programme. They have also committed to contributing to local education and sports facilities.
This project is significant for Gleeson as they extend their presence across the North and Midlands of England. They aim to provide high-quality and affordable homes to those who need them most in the areas where they are most needed. With Lincolnshire identified as a key growth region for Gleeson Homes, the Company intends to continue developing its offering, including its refreshed elevations and branding, as it pursues its medium-term target of 3,000 completions per annum.
