Countryside chosen for Salford City Council's €70.2m resi project (GB)

The Salford City Council has selected Countryside Properties, part of Vistry Group, as its preferred contractor for the redevelopment project located at Robert Hall Street and West Park Street. The 40468m2 scheme is worth €70.2m and involves the construction of 274 homes. The council has already submitted plans for the development, which will include 137 houses and 137 apartments. 

 

 

The houses will have two to four bedrooms, and the buildings will have a maximum of five storeys. The scheme has been designed by Buttress Architects, Around 40% of which would be affordable and managed by Derive, Salford City Council’s housing company.  

 

Countryside Properties will sign a preconstruction services agreement to further develop the project.
