CityLife is one of the largest redevelopment projects in Europe, covering an area of 366,000m². It is located in one of the most prestigious areas of Milan, only a short distance from the Duomo.

At the heart of CityLife there will be the CityLife Business & Shopping District, composed of three office towers able to host about 9,000 people, about 100 shops, services and restaurants facing the public park.

The entire CityLife block is pedestrian and is one of the largest in Europe. It is an example of a futuristic underground traffic and parking system, unique in Italy. CityLife public park is the first park that has been realised in the city centre since the beginning of the 19th century, and it is the third in the city centre after Sempione Park and Porta Venezia Gardens.

All CityLife residences are energy Class A certified, in keeping with the CityLife project’s environmental sustainability philosophy. An innovative circular underground traffic system beneath the residences allows occupants to arrive home under each building safely and conveniently by car, with direct access to the lobbies.

The new Allianz Tower, designed by internationally renowned architect Arata Isozaki, with its 202m and 50 storeys has promptly become a landmark of the newly developed Milan skyline. It has been acquired by the insurance company Allianz who will establish it as its Milan headquarters.

The other two towers which are currently under construction, designed by Zaha Hadid (170m, to be completed in 2017, which will host Generali Group in Milan) and Daniel Libeskind (175m, to be completed in 2018), forms an avant-garde business district arranged around the very innovative Tre Torri central square.

Around the Tre Torri square, the new CityLife Shopping District is under construction. It will offer an unprecedented quality and lively shopping experience, since it will be reached in complete comfort thanks to the new Tre Torri metro station in its centre.
