#MIPIM: CEEQA New Europe Breakfast - RealGreen winners and shortlist announced

The hotly anticipated shortlist for the CEEQA 2015 awards announced at the 2015 Mipim global real estate fair in Cannes saw the development arm Skanska Commercial Development Europe and construction arm Skanska SA listed for four times between them, with two nominations in the Office Development of the Year category and one nomination each for Developer of the Year and Construction Company of the Year.
The Swedish powerhouse also stands a chance of winning the award for overall Building of the Year CEE, and had already been named as the RealGreen Developer of the Year for the third year running in the announcements made at this year’s CEEQA@Mipim New Europe Breakfast.
A crowd of more than 100 of the sector’s business leaders saw Portland Trust’s project Floreasca Park lift the title of RealGreen Building of the Year for raising the certification of the building from BREEAM.
Very Good to BREEAM Excellent in 2014, the RealGreen Investor of the Year was named as Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management (formerly RREEF) and international built asset management company Arcadis took the award for RealGreen Service Provider of the Year. All four winners of the awards go through to the overall award for Green Leadership in the main CEEQA 2015 awards section.
The annual awards are the sector’s most respected industry recognition, organized each year in association with the Financial Times to reward excellence and to showcase the achievements and opportunities of the New Europe real estate sector to the international investment arena. They are free to enter and are judged by a jury panel of senior industry representatives of market leading companies across Central & Eastern Europe and and Southeast Europe with the voting closely supervised by globally trusted consultants Deloitte.
