For two of its clients, Amvest Investment Management is purchasing 358 turnkey apartments complete with storage, 217 covered parking spaces, cycle sheds and 54m² of gallery space in the Holland Park project in Diemen Zuid. Holland Park Phase III is a development by Snippe Projecten. The news has been welcomed by the municipality of Diemen and the initiators of Holland Park. "As well as many buyers, there is a great deal of interest in private rental properties in Holland Park" says André Snippe, speaking on behalf of Holland Park.
The 358 private rental apartments are located in four apartment blocks: Tower 3, Block 6, Tower 4 and Block 7. Work started today on the construction of Tower 3 and Block 6.
Tower 3, designed by architect’s firm Cruz y Ortiz Arquitectos, has 15 floors, 13 of which are residential, and includes 37 apartments. The ground floor will feature a passageway and gallery; storage areas are located on the first floor. Block 6 has been designed by architect Sjoerd Soeters' PPHP firm and consists of two groups of nine residential floors, together forming a square block of 164 apartments. The storage areas and parking spaces are located underneath the communal courtyard garden.
Tower 4 has 15 levels, with 14 residential floors of 39 apartments. Storage areas are located on the ground floor. The design is by Mopet. Block 7, also designed by PPHP, contains 118 apartments and is made up of two sections with six and seven residential floors, together forming a U shape. The storage areas and parking spaces are located underneath the communal courtyard garden. Construction work on Tower 4 and Block 7 starts in mid-December 2016. UBA Bouw, based in Uithoorn, is responsible for construction work on the four apartment buildings.
For the acquisition, Amvest was advised by BarentsKrans; the vendor received advice from Dijk & Ten Cate and Houthoff Buruma.
