Altera Vastgoed NV has sold a prime retail property in Breda. The store, located on Karrestraat, comprises 392m² and is currently leased to shoe retailer Ziengs. With the sale of this property in Breda, Altera continues to strengthen its strategic focus on Food & Convenience real estate. The purchase price was not disclosed.
Erwin Wessels, Altera’s CIO, commened: “Convenience real estate in areas with robust demographics contributes to a stable direct return for our investors and is less sensitive to the effects of e-commerce and cyclical changes. This sale takes our convenience portfolio above 75%, a figure that will continue to rise in the coming period as a result of acquisitions, sales and asset management activities.”
