Allsop raised €65.5m at auction, with an 82% success rate (GB)

Allsop raised c. €65.5 at its latest residential auction, achieving a success rate of 82%. The highest-value lot—a freehold Grade II listed building that comprises a restaurant and two self-contained flats—sold for c. €2.8m, surpassing its guide price of €2.4m after competitive bidding.

The auction featured a variety of residential and mixed-use investment and development opportunities across the UK. This successful second residential auction of the year brought the total amount raised on behalf of vendors to over c. €142.8m, following c. €38m raised in the January residential auction and c. €48.8m in the February commercial auction.

Richard Adamson, managing partner and residential auctioneer at Allsop, stated: “Following our successful January sale, our second residential auction of the year achieved another impressive result. Securing £55m (c. €65.4m) in sales with a success rate of over 82% in a challenging market demonstrates the continued demand for well-priced assets. The auction catalogue included properties from a diverse range of motivated sellers and attracted nearly 2,000 approved bidder registrations. Despite ongoing market pressures, income-generating and value-add opportunities remain highly sought after, and additional sales are still being finalized post-auction, indicating sustained interest. Our March catalogue will be released shortly and is expected to feature another high-quality selection of properties.
