Weston Partnerships secures €175m in new contracts across UK housing sectors

Weston Partnerships, a subsidiary of Weston Group focused on third-party collaborations, has secured contracts worth over €175m across multiple housing sectors, announced at its innovative exhibition hub during the UKREiiF 2025 Forum in Leeds. The deals span Build-to-Rent, local authority housing, and student accommodation, highlighting the company's strategic diversification beyond traditional housebuilding.

The largest agreement, valued at €157m with Royal London Asset Management, will deliver 434 turn-key Build-to-Rent homes across two sites: Town Quay in Barking (85 units) and Bracknell Beeches (349 units). Additional contracts include a €17.4m public-private partnership with Be First, the regeneration arm of Barking and Dagenham Council, to provide 62 affordable housing units, and a €14.7m student accommodation project in Cambridge developed alongside Vertex Living.

"We are pleased to announce during UKREiiF 2025 Forum and Exhibition that Weston Partnerships has secured over £150 million in new contracts, a testament to the trust our partners place in us. With our partnerships, we are committed to delivering projects that uphold the highest standards of quality and innovation. By harnessing our experience and technology, Weston Partnerships will play a pivotal role in addressing the UK's housing challenges whilst strengthening relationships with key industry players," said Steve Hatton, Development Director of Weston Partnerships.

What may particularly interest investors is how Weston has positioned itself to capitalise on the UK's institutional housing demand through vertical integration. Their wholly-owned subsidiary British Offsite provides Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) components manufactured in one of Europe's largest automated assembly lines, enabling faster delivery timeframes and consistency across projects, crucial advantages as construction labour shortages continue to plague the sector.

At UKREiiF, attended by over 16,000 property professionals, Weston showcased this capability through its house-form exhibition hub built using the company's MMC components. The showcase demonstrated British Offsite's innovative UNisystemLB, a light-gauge steel frame construction system featured in the Cambridge student housing project.

"Weston Partnerships is part of our expansion into key sectors of the diverse UK accommodation marketplace, including the Build-to-Rent, retirement, student housing and local authority housing sectors. Weston Group now has several growing businesses, alongside the Build-to-Sell business Weston Homes, our volume housebuilding division. These new partnerships generate additional income streams for the group and utilise the MMC building components delivered by our subsidiary British Offsite," explained Peter Gore, CEO of Weston Group.
