TT Group’s redevelopment of Telecom House aligns with green urban living trends and brings major regeneration value to the heart of the Midlands.
Totalling over 9,570 m², the former office building on Trinity Street will be converted into 24 studios, 61 one-bedroom, and 14 two-bedroom apartments. The car-free project promotes sustainable mobility with 110 secure bicycle storage spaces and proximity to the local bus network, catering to a growing demographic seeking affordable, low-carbon urban living.
“Planning approval ensures Telecom House can be revitalised, securing its future through the delivery of much-needed new homes. Ideally located in the city centre, the development will be car-free, with secure cycle storage and convenient access to local bus services, meaning residents can benefit from greener transport options,” said Fiona Johnson, Senior Asset Manager at TT Group.
The approval is also a key milestone within TT Group’s wider national development pipeline, which spans over 19,000 homes. With over €9.5bn in assets and more than 6 million m² under management, the Group is increasingly active in regeneration-led opportunities that align with sustainability, affordability and infrastructure access.
For investors, Stoke-on-Trent’s position as a levelling-up priority zone combined with its growing student population, expanding rail links, and low entry cost makes this scheme especially appealing. Telecom House is also one of the first inner-city projects of its kind in Stoke aiming to be entirely car-free, reflecting evolving planning policies that favour low-emission living.
Originally known as Telereal Trillium, TT Group’s repositioning has sharpened its focus on unlocking overlooked assets in key urban centres. The company is also the owner of Lands Improvement, a master developer with a strategic land portfolio across the UK.
