Triuva has acquired a high-street retail property of around 2,220m² on Piazza della Repubblica in Florence for €37m and expands its Italian high-street portfolio to a volume of approx. €160m including 10 assets. The seller of this prime asset is BNL. The Californian tech giant Apple is the property’s anchor tenant.

Up until 2014, the building served as BNL’s headquarters in Florence. Around 70% of the building is leased to Apple. Triuva is in advanced negotiations with a luxury fashion brand that intends to take over the remaining rental space.

Piazza della Repubblica is situated in the historic centre of Florence. With its prestigious hotels and cafés, the Arcone triumphal arch and numerous retailers, the square is one of the most popular meeting points in the city.

Triuva was advised on the transaction by the law firm DLA as the legal advisor and by JLL as the technical and commercial advisor. BNL sought advice from the agent C&W Agent and the legal advisor Studio Graziadei.
