Tikehau IM today announced the completion of the acquisition of a refurbished logistics asset from Compagnie du Parc de Bercy. The asset has a gross lettable area of 29,000m² and is located on a 44,200m² plot of land by Porte de Bercy in Charenton-le-Pont (next to Bercy2 shopping center).

The asset is a last-mile logistics park on the outskirts of Paris with excellent road access. The park recently underwent heavy refurbishment and has been upgraded to the highest technical, security and environmental standards (ICPE standards - BREEAM certification with rating “GOOD” for Design). The strategic location of the asset has attracted renowned tenants such as UPS, Geodis Calberson and Newrest through long-term leases.

The comprehensive redevelopment of the surrounding area (ZAC Bercy-Charenton) alongside new infrastructure developments as a result of the Grand Paris project and Contrat d’Intérêt National for Charenton-le-Pont will add sustainable value to the asset in the future.

The asset is being acquired by Tikehau Logistics Properties I, a French OPCI fund created and managed by Tikehau IM. Its shareholders include Tikehau Capital, notably through TREIC (Tikehau Real Estate Investment Company) and first tier institutional investors. Since the beginning of 2014, this has been the 6th deal closed by Tikehau IM’s Real Estate team with assets under management growing over to €900m.
