Tema Istanbul, which was presented internationally for the first time at MIPIM last week, has attracted considerable interest from foreign investors. According to General Director Mesut Arslan, the company has received collaboration proposals from Russian, Greek and Polish investor groups.
Tema Istanbul, one of Turkey’s largest mixed-use projects, attracted significant interest from investors at MIPIM, which took place in Cannes last week. The scheme, which will include a total of 1.6 million m², is currently among the largest projects in Europe. It is planned to include residences, shopping malls and hotels and has already sold 1,792 residential units since its launch last July. One of the project’s most characteristic components will be Tema World, a €288 million theme park.
20,500 delegates from 93 countries, including 4,500 investors, gathered in Cannes for a frenetic four days of business meetings and high-level industry talks at the RE-Invest Summit, the MIPIM Innovation Forum and the sixth Mayors’ Think Tank.
