Tallberg acquired Vantaanporti Retail Park from eQ Liikekiinteistot (FI)

Julius Tallberg-Kiinteistot Oyj has recently acquired the entire share capital of Vantaan Antaksentie 4 from Special Investment Fund eQ Liikekiinteistot. The transaction was made on March 28, 2024.

Vantaanporti Retail Park is situated in the Pakkala area at Antaksentie 4, Vantaa. It is a well-established and successful shopping centre, housing many popular brands such as Lidl, Bavaria Airport Vantaa, Rinta-Joupin Autoliike, TK-Biketeam, Rexel Finland, F-musiikki, and Hop Lop. The property was built in 2002 and has a leasable area of 24,600 m2.

Vantaanporti Retail Park comprises three commercial buildings, featuring tall showroom-type premises. It is a popular commercial area that also houses Jumbo-Flamingo Mall, K-rauta, and numerous car dealerships.

"Vantaanporti's prominent business location with its excellent location strengthens Tallberg's real estate portfolio and creates excellent conditions to serve customers with business space needs in Vantaa's Pakkala," said Timo Valtonen, CEO of Julius Tallberg-Kiinteistot Oyj.

The object is certified with BREEAM In-Use certification. Large energy efficiency projects have been implemented at the site, such as a geothermal plant and a solar power plant, and thus the site supports Tallberg's ESG and carbon neutrality goals.

"Special investment fund eQ Liikekinteistöt has owned the site since 2017. During its ownership, eQ has actively developed the site by making significant leases and improving the site's energy efficiency. We are very satisfied with the transaction and the smooth cooperation with the new owner of the site," said Marjaana Berger, eQ investment manager.
