CENTRAAL, named after one of the Amsterdam train stations is one of the six new buildings in the MesseCity Cologne business district. Starting from November 1, 2024, STRABAG Property and Facility Services (STRABAG PFS) will be managing CENTRAAL.
The construction of CENTRAAL was carried out by Ed. ZUBLIN and developed by STRABAG Real Estate in collaboration with ECE Work and Live. Following a successful tender, STRABAG PFS has taken over the management of the building. The primary tenant, a leading audit and advisory company, is expected to move into the building in late fall and occupy 15 floors with around 900 workstations.
The contract between STRABAG PFS and CENTRAAL covers a three-year period and includes all technical facility management services and infrastructural services for the property. The office space spans around 20,000m2, with an underground car park of approximately 15,000m2 and a prestigious trade fair balcony, which serves as the heart of the entire complex, featuring a large open space and staircase.
Centrally located between Koelnmesse and the Cologne-Deutz long-distance train station, with a view of the Rhine and the cathedral, CENTRAAL and the other new buildings in the quarter offer convenient accessibility. The business district includes various restaurants, hotels, and workspaces. Notably, the entire complex is DGNB certified, reflecting the high standards set for managing the properties.
