Ukrainian retailer Silpo will resume operations in 16 stores in Kyiv, Sumy, Chernihiv and Kharkiv, following the temporary closure due to the ongoing conflict in the country. The company, which is part of Fozzy Group, will reopen a range of stores in the 'next week and a half'. It has already partially reopened two warehouses near Kyiv, which will enable supply to stores in the region. Scheduled delivery of goods has also been resumed in 20 cities, according to the statement released by the company.
The list of locations scheduled for reopening includes stores on Vyshgorodskaya, Heroes of Stalingrad Ave, Malinowski, Mayakovsky Ave, Miloslavska, Minsk Ave, Obolonsky Ave, Olenivska, Sribnokilska, Chokolivskyi Blvd and Sheptytskoho. In Kyiv region, stores in Vasylkiv and Fastiv are also set to reopen their doors.
In Kharkiv, stores on Traktorobudivnykiv Ave, Lyudviha Svobody Ave and Pushkins'ka St are also opening over the coming days, while in Sumy, the company plans to reopen Mykhaila Lushpy Ave store. Finally, in Chernihiv, the Silpo will reopen its outlet on Muzychna St.
As a result of the reopening, the company will be operating over 80 branded stores in Kyiv, with 18 supermarkets operating in Kyiv region.
