GXO Logistics, Inc. has announced the signing of a contract with the SAMSE Group. This partnership is part of the SAMSE Group's strategy to optimize its supply chain. GXO will manage the group's omnichannel logistics, from the receipt of the products to their shipment.

GXO will manage SAMSE's logistics activities from two centres located in La Boisse, near Lyon, with a total area of 56,000m2 in which a hundred team members will handle more than 22,000 SKUs. The first site will manage the cross-dock flows for all the stores of the SAMSE Group - Construction and DIY Materials. The second hub will focus on e-commerce flows for your DIY store 'L'Entrepot du Bricolage'.
GXO will implement several innovations in its facilities to increase productivity and flexibility, such as palm scanners and e-beacon technology to secure cargo operations. An automated surveillance post will also be installed with automatic scanning of the license plates of pre-registered trucks to speed up transport flows.
This partnership marks a key step in the logistics transformation of the SAMSE Group, leveraging GXO's expertise. This high-performance logistics model will support the growth of the SAMSE Group and demonstrate its commitment to its customers, its employees and its network of partners.
