The Dutch brand Rituals, specialized in home and body cosmetics, will open in 2015 its 1st French flagship store under the Canopy of Le Forum des Halles shopping Centre, on a surface of 143 m² GLA. This 1st flagship store will offer a unique City Spa concept developed by the retailer.
With a network of 350 freestanding stores and 1000 shop-in-shops worldwide, Rituals, which has an ambitious expansion strategy for France, has instructed Cushman & Wakefield to act as exclusive lettings agent for their expansion, and will open stores on high street locations as well as in shopping centres with an average size of between 60 and 100 m².
The brand aims to open a hundred shops in France over the next 10 years, and plans to open its first 3 stores in 2015 in iconic Parisian shopping centres and in high street locations in the heart of Paris. Also several shop-in-shops are expected to be opened in leading department stores and perfumery stores throughout France.
Founded in 2000 by Raymond Cloosterman, Rituals has imposed its unique concept "RITUALS ... to feel at home anywhere in the world" with a luxurious collection of products for the home and high quality cosmetics: body and facial care, scented candles, clothing, fragrances, germstone makeup and tea. The brand philosophy is based on the concept that happiness is made of small things. With a diverse range of luxury products inspired by Eastern traditions, Rituals transforms everyday routines into moments of indulgence.
Owned by Unibail-Rodamco, European leader in commercial real-estate, Forum des Halles accommodates all the major retail brands in fashion, beauty, healthcare and well-being and is visited by 150 000 customers daily.
