The novel construction for the BWI Group, premier chassis supplier, has symbolically began at Panattoni Park Cheb, close to the German borders with the presence of national and local officials from Karlovy Vary region. “The connection to Germany makes the city of Cheb an attractive location for various producers and logistics providers, as the unemployment rate is higher than in other regions of the Czech Republic. I am glad that I was able to contribute at the senate by the proposal, which shall ease the process in relation to establishment of novel industrial zones,” said Miroslav Nenutil, senator for Cheb and Tachov.

"The decision to locate a new plant in Cheb was preceded by a detailed analysis of more than 30 sites in the Czech Republic and Poland. BWI has found in Cheb perfectly prepared industrial zone thanks to the excellent work-relation of the city of Cheb, having a proactive approach towards new clients, and the industrial Developer Panattoni Europe. I am convinced that this constellation will soon bring other interesting projects suitable for this location. CBRE is now working on several other projects for Cheb zone, which are in the final stage of the decision-making process," adds Michal Bezděka, Head of Industrial Agency at CBRE.
