Orbit Developments approved for Bolton NatWest offices redevelopment (GB)

Orbit Developments received permission to repurpose 3 Parklands off De Havilland Way - former Bolton NatWest offices.

The construction will involve converting c. 2,322m2 into either self-storage or office space. Additionally, a link will be constructed to connect the building to the adjacent multi-story car park, which already houses a secure self-storage business on the ground floor.

These new facilities will allow the existing self-storage business to expand, as indicated in the planning statement submitted by Orbit, part of The Emerson Group.

The planning statement also mentions that the design and layout of the self-storage and office space on the ground floor will be tailored to meet the market demand or the specific requirements of potential tenants.

NatWest previously occupied 3 Parklands until the offices were vacated in November last year.

The plans have been approved by Bolton Council planners through a delegated decision.
