NSI has sold two unoccupied office buildings, located at Eleanor Rooseveltlaan 3-25 and 29-51 in Zoetermeer, the Netherlands, to the Belgian developer Cornerstones Development. The property comprises 7,690m² office space and 150 parking spaces. This purchase is the first investment of Cornerstones Development in the Netherlands. At the end of last year, the municipality of Zoetermeer identified the plot as a potential residential area. The purchase price was not disclosed.
Bas Wilberts, Director of Alternative Investments at Savills in the Netherlands, commented: “During the sales, not only the current situation was taken into account but also the future opportunities of the plot. The fact that the location may potentially be used as a residential area has contributed to a broad investors’ interest and a good purchase price.”
