Niam acquired a 7300m2 office property, situated in Greater Copenhagen at Knud Hojgaards Vej 1, with Novo Nordisk, a global healthcare company as the exclusive tenant. The seller is Industriens Pension and the acquisition price is €17.44m.
"In line with Niam's portfolio strategy, this acquisition provides increased exposure to the Danish market and a strong add-on to our existing portfolio of high-quality offices with leading tenants across the Nordics. We look forward to partnering with tenant Novo Nordisk and exploring future requirements together. The property has a high ESG profile and, going forward, our focus is on obtaining sustainability certification for the property”, said Victor Wettergren, Fund Manager, Niam.
"We believe that companies will continue to demand quality office space in close proximity to Copenhagen. The commute to and from Knud Hojgaards Vej 1 will become even more efficient from next year when Copenhagen’s new light rail opens a new station nearby, thus creating an even better connection to the rest of the Greater Copenhagen region”, said Jacob de Lichtenberg, Country Manager Denmark, Niam.
