NCC has signed an agreement with BAE Systems Hagglunds to build new production premises in Ornskoldsvik. The project is a turnkey contract in partnering form with an order value of c. €49.8m.
The production premises, called ‘Loket D-hall’, include a production hall and terminal with staff areas, workshops and garages and will be constructed at the defence equipment Group’s existing factory site in Gullanget, Ornskoldsvik, Sweden. The buildings will encompass a total of 12,000m2.
“This assignment is a good match for NCC’s expertise in security classified buildings. We have an excellent partnership with BAE Systems Hägglunds and look forward to realizing a project that NCC has been involved in for some time. It paves the way for a successful collaboration with an important business for Ornskoldsvik,” said Niklas Sparw, Head of NCC Building Sweden.
Work will begin immediately and is expected to be completed in spring 2026.
