Millfield Estates has purchased an eco-friendly office building located at 3 Rayns Way, Watermead Business Park, Leicester for €1.4m. This acquisition increases Millfield Estates' portfolio to a total of 14 properties. The office building has a Passivhaus design, which has earned it an 'A' rated Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). The office covers a total area of 560m2 and has an open-plan layout, raised access floors, and an abundance of natural light, making it a welcoming work environment.
The building features advanced environmental technologies, including full air conditioning powered by ground and air source heat pumps, a mechanical ventilation heat recovery system, and the integration of renewable energy sources. Additionally, roof-mounted solar panels and solar shading blinds contribute significantly to its outstanding EPC rating.
