Medici Living Group plans UK market entry

Medici Living Group, the world’s largest co-living provider, intends to launch its new co-living-brand Quarters in UK soon. The company plans to enter the UK market and to open the first Quarters-house in one of UK’s major cities by 2018. “We see great potential for our co-living brand Quarters in UK’s major cities”, says Gunther Schmidt, Founder & CEO, Medici Living Group. “Therefore, we are negotiating with various partners multiple locations between 20.000 and 160.000 sq ft in London and Manchester and we look forward to launch our first Quarters-building in the UK. We are planning on opening several thousand units over the next years in UK Tier 1 cities."

The company has opened the co-living-houses in New York and Berlin in spring 2017. The concept provides a home for an international community of creative spirits, young entrepreneurs and digital nomads. Medici Living Group develops and runs innovative, digitized co-living spaces for different target groups and demands. The company’s portfolio comprises of over 1,200 co-living units worldwide which are very well utilised with 96 percent on average. All living units are leased on long-term and get equipped for tenancy. The company was founded in 2012 by CEO and Founder, Gunther Schmidt, and his Co-Founders and Managing Directors, Robert Gmeiner and Ferdinand von Fumetti.
