LIVING's Le Jardin in District 13 has received final permits (HU)

LIVING has reached an important milestone: the first phase of its greenest residential development, Le Jardin in Rozsnyay utca, District 13, has received its final use permit, and the handover of 165 apartments with A+ energy rating has started. LIVING prioritised environmentally friendly and energy-efficient solutions in this project, which is one of the first residential developments in Hungary to obtain a BREEAM Very Good certification in the design phase. Sales are underway in the residential park, with only a few apartments still available.

The first phase of the 165-unit Le Jardin residential park, LIVING’s greenest development to date, has received its final use permit. Located in a dynamically developing district, yet in a green, landscaped environment, the unique feature of the Rozsnyay utca project is that the building is right next to the Rakos Stream, which is directly accessible to residents through a walkway.

Thanks to the proximity of Vaci ut, Le Jardin has excellent transport infrastructure, with several routes to the city centre by car and by public transport: the Forgach utca stop on metro line M3 is just 10 minutes on foot, and tram no. 14 stops just 5 minutes away. Fans of an active lifestyle will appreciate access to dedicated bicycle paths nearby. In the vicinity of the project, there are playgrounds, preschools, schools, two secondary and vocational secondary schools as well as a university.

The completion of the first phase of Le Jardin is an important milestone in the history of LIVING, as this is the greenest residential development in our portfolio. In this development, using environmentally friendly solutions was extremely important for us: the residential park has an A+ energy rating, heating, cooling and hot water are provided by a heat pump, and a modern ceiling heating system has been installed. The sustainability of the residential park is further improved by the BREEAM Very Good certification that the first phase obtained in the design phase, becoming one of the first residential projects in the Hungarian market with sustainability certification. Naturally, just as in all our residential parks, our aim at Le Jardin was to offer more than simple sustainability in everyday life: in this development, unique community and smart home solutions provide an enhanced experience,” said Tibor Tatar, Head of WING’s residential and office development businesses in Hungary.

Le Jardin offers practical studio apartments as well as large five-room penthouse units with efficient floor plans and panoramic views. 19 homes in the project have direct garden access. The underground parking garage of the residential development has 188 parking spaces, including 58 with electric chargers. With a total of 2337m2 of lawn and 45 saplings, the residential park offers the residents a pleasant, green environment.
