As reported by the Spanish press, the famous Spanish department store chain has reached an agreement for the sale of its approx. 8,000 m² building on Plaza Catalunya to IBA Capital Partners for €100 million.
The building used to host the headquarters of Central as well as a Marks & Spencer store. El Corte Inglés will remain in the building as a lessee.
This transaction is part of the company’s divestments in order to settle a €5 billion debt to Morgan Stanley.
