In Vastra Kungsholmen, Fabege has the opportunity to create a new office project under the name Tegelterrassen. With the zoning plan now legally binding, the development of 36,000m2 of office space is set to begin once a lead tenant signs an agreement.
The property Paradiset 27 in Vastra Kungsholmen will from now on be known as Tegelterrassen. Fabege plans to preserve and enhance the existing building through a careful transformation, blending the characteristic architecture of the 1950s with modern demands for light, space, and functionality. Copper details and brick will continue to feature prominently in the building’s atriums and street-level spaces.
The building will be expanded with three new floors and the addition of ten terraces offering views of Stockholm’s city centre and Ulvsundasjön. A new main entrance will be built on Franzengatan and several atriums will be added to the building. The ground floors will include a restaurant, gym, conference facilities, and a reception area. A bicycle garage and changing rooms will also be added, ensuring a pleasant and functional workspace for all future employees.
Tegelterrassen is located between the boardwalk and Essingeleden in Vastra Kungsholmen.
The expansion will add approximately 14,000m2 of office space, bringing the total rentable area to about 36,000m2.
"The zoning plan has become legally binding, and we look forward to starting the renovation and expansion of the building once a lead tenant has signed. We are confident that Tegelterrassen, with its attractive location and range of services, will be highly sought after in the office market,” said Hanna af Sandeberg, Head of Urban and Property Development at Fabege.
