EURAMCO has purchased the first solar park for its “dark green” renewable energy fund for private investors, EURAMCO Clean Power GmbH & Co. KG. At an above-average sunny location near Regensburg, “Die Welle” has been producing electricity from solar radiation since August of this year.
The portfolio development of the first climate protection fund for private investors from EURAMCO is progressing according to plan: With the “Die Welle” solar park, the provider from Aschheim is relying on technology that has been tried and tested for many years: both the solar modules from “Trina” and the inverters from “Huawei” are among the test winners in their segment. The manufacturer provides a 12-year guarantee on the product and 30 years on the performance of the modules, and there is a five-year guarantee on the inverters. The solar park in Barbing in the Bavarian Upper Palatinate has been feeding electricity from photovoltaics into the grid since August 2024. A good 17,600 solar modules and 28 inverters were installed on an area of 110,000m2, which is secured long-term by lease agreements for 20 years plus two five-year extension options; the system has a total output of 10 MWp.
For “The Wave” and other, comparably high-yield investments in renewable energy parks, EURAMCO expects total payouts in the base scenario of around 170%, with weak development still 165% and with a positive deviation of at least 175%t. In the pipeline for “Clean Power” there are further solar parks in Thuringia, Bavaria and Schleswig-Holstein with an installed output of between two and sixteen MWp per park, as well as wind farms in Brandenburg with an installed output of up to 28 MW.
“For 24 years, investments in renewable energies have been one of EURAMCO’s core competencies,” explained Jurgen Gobel, Managing Director of the EURAMCO Group, adding: “For the subscribers to our mixed-risk EURAMCO Clean Power, this experience and our good network in the market are an excellent basis for their participation.”
