ECE Work & Live has sold a logistics centre in Hamburg-Billbrook on the market: The purchaser of the recently completed logistics property which was planned, developed and realized by ECE Work & Live is a German investor, represented by Savills Investment Management and focusing on core properties in prime logistics locations. The transaction has already been signed and is expected to close by the end of the year.
"After a very quiet period in the investment market, we have seen increased interest from serious investors with a focus on sustainable, future-proof real estate in recent months. It was therefore the right time for us to sell this fully let, ideally located logistics property that meets the highest sustainability criteria," commented Henrie W. Kotter, CEO of ECE Work & Live.
The state-of-the-art, flexible logistics centre in Hamburg-Billbrook has a total lettable area of 28,600m² and will be handed over to the purchaser fully let. Long-term tenants are the Danish jewellery company Pandora and the international logistics group Kuhne+Nagel.
The property meets the highest ESG standards. It is planned and realized according to the Efficiency House 40 standard and has, among other things, PV systems on the roof, a completely fossil-free heat supply with efficient heat pumps, a roof construction and parts of the façade made of the renewable raw material wood as well as extensive roof and façade greening. DGNB certification in platinum is being sought.
