Centerscape Investments acquires Polish retail portfolio

Centerscape Investments has acquired two retail parks located in Warsaw and Inowroclaw from Hunter REIM. Properties offer circa 4,550m² of leaseable space, with Netto chain as the grocery anchor operator. The company is now closing on a purchase of the last property from the portfolio, a retail park in Torun. The property comprises 1,424m² GLA and also Netto as the grocery anchor tenant. The purchase price was not disclosed.

“The transacted properties are all attractively located retail parks with a strong anchor tenant - a grocery operator. This type of investment product is currently one of the most sought-after on the market, evolving dynamically since 2020. Developers compete in securing land for new investments, therefore acquiring already existing assets is also a very good strategy, ensuring the purchase of property in good locations, with an established position among local communities," commented Artur Czuba, Associate Director at Avison Young.
