Carrefour unveils eco-friendly fashion concept (PL)

Carrefour Polska has opened zones with TEX ecological clothing in its largest hypermarkets in Poland. The expansion of environmentally friendly fashionable clothing is another step in the Carrefour Group's long-term commitment that by 2030 all-natural raw materials used in the TEX clothing range will be sourced in a sustainable and traceable manner.

The BIO zones of the TEX brand have permanently appeared in 7 largest Carrefour hypermarkets in Poland, including locations in Warsaw, Katowice, Poznan, and Torun. They include a wide selection of women's and children's clothing and underwear, men's clothing and bathroom textiles, produced in a way that is friendly to our planet. The BIO TEX brand uses ecological cotton, pays attention to fair remuneration for producers, cares for the welfare of goats, from which cashmere is produced, and promotes production using recycled materials, using less water and responsible forest management. The new ecological collections of the TEX brand are created with all family members in mind. BIO TEX's regular assortment also includes a selection of bathroom textiles, including towels or bathrobes and an offer for children - baby clothes and sets of clothes and underwear for girls and boys.

"Offering high-quality clothing products is one of the areas of Carrefour Polska's business plan. For many years, together with the Carrefour Group, we have been implementing a sustainable policy with regard to textile products and we're aiming that by 2030 all-natural raw materials used in the TEX clothing range will be sourced in a sustainable and traceable manner," said Marek Lipka, Commercial Director and member of the Management Board of Carrefour Polska.
