BNP Paribas real estate sells new 42,200m² Novartis Headquarters to Korea Investment & Securities (FR)

BNP Paribas Real Estate signed a sale for the new Novartis headquarters located in the Rueil-sur-Seine business district, in Rueil-Malmaison, Paris, France.

 

The South Korean investor, Korea Investment & Securities (KIS), represented by Asset Managers L’Etoile Properties Services on the French side and Millennium in South Korea, has acquired its first off-plan real estate asset in France. This is the first transaction BNP Paribas Real Estate Property Development has completed with a South Korean investor.

 
Thibierge & Associés public notary and Lacourte Raquin Tatar law firm advised BNP Paribas Real Estate on this deal.
For the investor, 1768 Notaires public notary and the law firms Baker & Mckenzie and PWC contributed to the signing of this off-plan sale agreement.
Designed by Quadrifiore Architecture agency and developed by the Property Development teams of BNP Paribas Real Estate, this building represents an area of over 42,200 m² spread over eight floors and will be able to welcome up to 2,800 people.
 

The building will offer quality services to its tenants, (gym, auditorium with 200 seats, business centre, 3 types of restaurants) and will meet the environmental requirements with the ambition of obtaining the HQE “exceptional” certificate, the BREEAM “excellent” certificate and the Effinergie+ label.

 
Construction of the building began in May 2016 with an expected delivery in December 2018.
