Balder acquires the hotel property Scandic Opalen in central Gothenburg. The hotel area is 18 500 m² and consist of, inter alia, 353 hotel rooms. Affixed property value amounts to approximately 550 million. The entire property is leased to Scandic Hotels AB on a long term contract.
"Scandic Opalen is a profile property with a very strategic location with close proximity to Ullevi, Scandinavium, Swedish Exhibition Centre, Liseberg as well as the Avenue," CEO Erik Selin.
Savills has been the seller´s advisor in the deal.
