Altera Vastgoed NV is adding supermarket ALDI to Bieshof convenience centre in Dordrecht. By contracting ALDI for almost 1,200m², for which some tenants have been relocated, the shopping centre is 100% let after the arrival of the discounter. ALDI’s new store is scheduled to open in the spring of 2022. ALDI’s presence will increase the food & convenience share within the centre, which is in line with Altera’s general strategy and vision. After Albert Heijn and Plus, ALDI will be the third supermarket in the centre, which also has a strong fresh food section with Zuivelhoeve, Keurslager and a local fish shop and vegetable shop.
Altera CIO Erwin Wessels said: "With the arrival of ALDI, the daily range of food and convenience has been completed and the shopping centre will no longer have any vacancy in the spring of 2022, making Bieshof a prime example of a future-proof convenience centre, which fits in perfectly with our strategy. We remain committed to the further growth of convenience retail within our portfolio".
