Isar Aerospace is to establish its new company headquarters near Munich in the municipality of Vaterstetten. The company has signed a contract with VGP Group to develop and build the facility for Isar Aerospace in the industrial area Parsdorf III. The new site will accommodate the production, development, and corporate headquarters of Isar Aerospace.

By building one of the world's most modern production facilities for orbital launch vehicles, we are literally laying the foundations to become Europe's leading provider of satellite launches and to provide small and medium-sized satellites with sustainable access to space."

The Vaterstetten municipal council has already approved the plans, but planning permission is still pending. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2024.

With more than 40,000m2 for Isar Aerospace, the business park has now reached full occupancy with a total of 320,000m2 of rentable space.
The existing buildings in VGP Park Munich have already been awarded at least Gold certification by the DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council). This certification is also being sought for the new building being constructed for Isar Aerospace. The sustainable energy supply for the buildings will be provided by solar systems.
