Vallehermoso, the real estate company belonging to the Sacyr Vallehermoso group and specializing in new housing development, is leading, together with local enterprises, a major residential project in Ãguilas (Murcia).
Vallehermoso is planning to build a complex of 3,500 homes (apartments and free-standing houses), hotels, a golf course and other commercial and miscellaneous use facilities. The plot, which adjoins the urban center of Ãguilas and is 200 meters from the seashore, has a surface area of 230 hectares.
This initiative of Vallehermoso forms part of its strategy of increasing its presence in the coastal vacation home business for which, apart from the Ãguilas project, land has already been acquired in Casares (Costa del Sol â" Málaga) and Zahara de los Atunes (Cádiz), where residential developments are planned with golf courses and other added services, especially designed for national and foreign clients. Vallehermoso is seeking to expand its business activity to a market such as the coastal vacation home market, with the same standards of quality which have allowed it to position itself as Number 1 in Quality of Life over the last 50 years, selling 4,386 homes in 2004, for an amount close to 1.1 billion euros, thanks to its own domestically-established network.
