SLP announced in April that it had signed an agreement to acquire the property Litografen 8 in Eskilstuna, which, including building rights, has a total area of c. 59,000m2. The transaction was conditional on the Swedish Strategic Products Inspectorate having decided to approve or leave the investment made through the acquisition without action, which is now complete.
The property is acquired through a corporate transaction with an agreed property value that amounts to c. €23.9m. The transaction is financed with the company’s own funds.
The entire building of 27,000m2 is currently leased by Tamro AB, with a fully indexed lease with an annual rent of c. €1.5m, which runs until 30 September 2027.
"The property is in very good condition and has great potential to be environmentally certified by, among other things, installing solar cells. There is also significant potential in utilizing existing building rights and build a large extension, which would increase the annual rent in the long term," said Tommy Astrand, CEO of SLP.
