SFL is adding two new properties to its portfolio. SFL has signed a purchase option on an approximately 22,000 m² building in the La Défense business district to the west of Paris and an agreement for the acquisition of Cofimmo, owner of Coface's original headquarters building at 5, rue Alfred de Vigny in the 8th district of Paris.
The building in the La Défense business district is valued at some 140 million, the entire property is let to a first-class covenant. The purchase is expected to be completed in September.
The acquisition transaction of the building at rue Alfred de Vigny should be completed at the end of September, once the conditions precedent have been fulfilled. After being vacated by the current occupiers, the building will be refurbished in 2006, offering 2,700 m² of office space for rental in the Parc Monceau area.
