Savills buys German workplace specialist BRICKBYTE

Savills has acquired workplace specialist BRICKBYTE in Germany. The start-up combines services and consulting with digital space proptech to create sustainable office concepts. With the acquisition, Savills is responding to increasing client demand for workplace consulting. The BRICKBYTE team will operate from Munich and Berlin.

 

In 2019, Norman Romeike founded BRICKBYTE; Tobias Hetfleisch joined in 2020 und Alessia Finckenstein in 2021. The business operates at the intersection of real estate consulting, architecture and digitalisation. Clients include ADAC (the German AA),Porsche and EDGE. BRICKBYTE combines workplace and Corporate Real Estate Management (CREM) consultation with innovative digital modules. The digital tool BRICKBYTE X helps clients with analysis, strategy and concepts as well as implementation and operation. Amongst others, this includes workplace usage and capacity studies, office space analyses supported by artificial intelligence, 3D visualisations and organisational change management.
