Roosendaal factory outlet center let for one-third (NL)

The factory outlet center in Roosendaal (the Netherlands) has been named the Rosada Factory Outlet. The outlet center will offer 15,698 m² of retail space in Phase I, Phase II will offer another 3,242 m², making a total of 18,940 m². The center will be developed by McMahon Development Group Europa Management.

Construction is planned to start in the second quarter of 2005, with Phase I opening in the first quarter of 2006 offering over 80 retail/cafe units and 1,400 total (on/off site) car parking. The second phase is planned to open in the first quarter in 2008.

At the end of the month a third of the space will be let, negotiations with potential tenants are under way for about 68% of the space. Rosada expects to draw over 2 million visitors in the first year.
